Spruce Mountain Ranch is located in a small town called Larkspur, which is smack dab between two of Colorado’s biggest cities—only about 35 minutes from Colorado Springs and 45 minutes from Denver. There are a few key benefits of our central location:

Upper Ranch Venues
Our Upper Ranch is ideal for large events, with the capacity to comfortably fit more than 1,000 guests across four event spaces:
- Ponderosa Room: The largest venue on the ranch, the Ponderosa Room features a beautiful stone stage, a lovely wooden interior, and plenty of space to set up tables, a dance floor, and other celebratory activities.
- Spruce Room: Adjacent to the Ponderosa Room, this slightly smaller but equally stunning space showcases a striking stone fireplace and dedicated catering prep areas.
- Aspen Room: Accessible through two grand sliding doors, this adaptable space works perfectly for intimate gatherings or as additional space for larger events.
- Ponderosa Courtyard: Both the Ponderosa and Spruce Rooms feature massive overhead doors opening to this charming string-lit paved courtyard, extending your celebration into Colorado's spectacular outdoors.
Lower Ranch Venues
If you have a smaller crowd, you may prefer our three Lower Ranch venues, which can accommodate approximately 500 guests:
- Albert’s Lodge: Sporting a glorious stone fireplace, exquisite woodwork, and access to a romantic, string-lit courtyard, Albert’s Lodge is possibly one of the coziest event spaces we offer.
- Albert’s Courtyard: Positioned between Albert’s Lodge and the Colorado Room, the courtyard is an excellent space for an evening of dining, mingling, and other reunion activities.
- Colorado Room: A smaller secluded space for more intimate gatherings, the Colorado Room welcomes guests with blazing fireplaces, a gorgeous wooden pergola, cozy log furniture, and beautifully manicured landscaping.
