The Deckert Engagement Story
We LOVE hearing about how our couples met, fell in love, and especially how they got engaged. One of our couples shared their sweet story with us and we can’t wait to share it with you! Check out Lexi and Levi’s love story ! We are excited to witness the beginning of their forever in August of 2020!
Levi and I met Sophomore year of college at Colorado State University. We ended up having the same off period and eating lunch together, which turned into a frequent thing during that semester. Over the years, we stayed friends, but never really hung out or talked (Especially after I moved to Arizona). After moving back to Colorado and announcing it, Levi made a comment to me about our Local pizza shop, Cosmos! Soon after, we realized we both worked out at the same gym, and decided to lift together. Shortly after, he asked me on our first date, and since then, we have been inseparable. It was the best first date either of us have ever been on (which lets be honest, they usually are not too fun). We went to dinner, I crushed him in bowling (or was it the other way around?), he sang some karaoke to win us free beer, and we ended our night eating I-Hop at 3 am. It was natural from the beginning. I wasn't afraid to be myself and neither was he. Our goofiness was an instant match made at CSU! Over the years, we have grown as individuals and as a couple and each step has allowed us to love deeper and laugh harder with one another. We have a beautiful nine month old daughter, a wild, four month old golden retriever, and two kitties! We love to spend our mornings snuggled up with our babies and drinking coffee. The gym is still one of our top places for a date night. And we are always looking to try new things and make new memories. We are blessed to have met five years ago, and thankful we now have forever.

We have a feeling that this wedding day is going to be joyous, fun, and full of lots of laughter. Lexi and Levi have loved each other well for a long time and their wedding day is sure to begin another chapter of them loving each other and the life they have created together. Celebrating love with all your family and friends is always a special time and a day that they can reflect on and cherish forever. Congratulations Levi and Lexi! We are so honored and excited that you chose our home to get married at!
