Colorado's Best Bridal Show- Wine & Nosh

Colorado’s Best Bridal Show

Wine and Nosh at Spruce Mountain Ranch

Larkspur, Colorado

Over the past weekend, I attended Wine & Nosh at Spruce Mountain Ranch. Wine & Nosh is an annual bridal show hosted by Sarah Viera Events, and Spruce Mountain Ranch.  Sarah founded Wine & Nosh in 2011. Sarah started Wine & Nosh when she saw a need for a more couture bridal show where couples were not bombarded by tons of vendors. For this reason, every vendor at Wine & Nosh is hand-selected.  This was the first year I attended the bridal show, so I had no idea what to expect. Let me tell you, as a bride to be, the bridal show was nothing short of spectacular.  You can read more about the most breathtaking elements of the show below.

My Overall Experience

This was the first bridal show I have attended, but as a bride, I was duly impressed. I attended the event with my best friend, Michelle. As we walked around the show, we just kept looking at each other in awe of the elegance and artistry surrounding us. Michelle has attended many bridal events like this in the past, but she was incredibly impressed by the event’s details and overall coordination. We had about an hour drive home after the event, and all we could do was rant and rave about our extraordinary experience. We walked away from the event with so many wonderful ideas, as well. My personal highlight from the event was the maple bacon donut bar. Of course, every bride needs donuts at her wedding!

Location

If you are looking for the perfect Colorado wedding you MUST check out Spruce Mountain Ranch. The venue is spectacular, and there is truly no better place to have a bridal show. The bridal show was hosted in the Ponderosa Room at Spruce Mountain Ranch. Stepping into the room was like a Pinterest dream come true, and the staff’s attention to detail in this event did not go unnoticed. After checking into the event, I was greeted by a glass of champagne. Then, I started to walk through the room, visiting each of the display areas set up by the vendors.

Vendors

What I loved about this bridal show was the selection of vendors. You could tell that each vendor was uniquely chosen to be in the bridal show. This makes the bride's life a whole lot easier because she is not pressured to speak to 100 different vendors. Instead, Sarah Viera and Spruce Mountain hand-picks a select few for the bride to chat with and get a feel for which ones best suit her needs. Since Wine & Nosh brought the best vendors to the event, this meant that each vendor’s display was top-notch and on-trend. From the beautiful agate cakes to the hanging flower displays, each vendor display was full of inspiration. The vendors themselves also impressed me. I chatted with several of them, and they were very knowledgeable about specific services, niches, and trends. You could tell that each vendor was not only distinctively skilled in a certain area, but also loved their work and what they were showcasing. The enthusiasm was overflowing while they were chatting with brides.

Attendance

This event had a tremendous turnout. Although a significant amount of brides attended the event, I never once felt overcrowded. I have attended events in the past where you can barely walk up to a vendor table because it is so crowded, but this was never the case at Wine & Nosh. The Ponderosa Room allowed space for all of the guests at the event to chat with each vendor if they wanted. The Ponderosa Room also provided a variety of different areas for the guests. Guests could either chat with vendors or grab a drink and take a seat at one of the tables. The lay out was superb, especially considering the amount of guests that attended the event.

Boutique Style

The boutique style of Wine & Nosh made this bridal show event feel intimate. The bride, or couple, had the opportunity to walk around the event, see the work and services of each vendor, and decide whether or not to engage the vendor. The space allowed each vendor to set up an area that showcased their best work to each couple. Because of the boutique style set-up, each bride or couple had access to each vendor, which ensured that the bride or couple received maximum personal attention.

Fashion Show

The fashion show from Something New Boutique was one of my favorite parts of the event. Guests had plenty of time to walk through the event, grab some amazing food, a drink, chat with vendors, and then watch the fashion show. The fashion show was fabulous. They showcased some amazing dresses for brides and options for bridesmaids as well. Another nice component of the fashion show was that Something New Boutique handed out 10%-off coupons during the event. Considering the prices of dresses nowadays, 10%-off can amount to quite a bit.

Food

The incredibly delicious food was the highlight of Wine & Nosh. The selection of food and the quality was marvelous. Wine & Nosh truly brought out the best caterers in Colorado for this event, and they did not disappoint. When I first arrived at the event, the fry bar from Cravings Catering caught my eye, so naturally, that was my first stop. This would be a great option for a late night snack at a wedding. I loved that the event showcased a variety of styles of food, as well. The food options ranged from barbecue to mac and cheese to ahi tuna.  Every bride had an option.  Beyond the exquisite taste of the food, each food vendor also provided unique presentations that any bride could adopt for an upcoming wedding. All cateres that are on Spruce Mountain's required vendor list was in attendance: Biscuits & Berries, Cravings Catering, Rocky Mountian Catering, Ocassions Catering, Catering By Design, Footers Catering & Epicurean Group

Decor

The decor at Wine and Nosh was first-rate. Immediately after setting foot inside the venue, you are greeted by a beautiful Spruce Mountain Ranch sign ( by Sweet Zion Paperie)  covered in a fabulous floral arrangement. The florals stole the show throughout the event. Each table was adorned with a unique floral arrangement, emulating every bride’s wedding fairytale. The variety of different tablescapes were stunning, as well. They ranged from classic and traditional to posh and trendy, especially the ones incorporating marble and copper.  Overall, the decor was awe-inspiring.

Entertainment

The fashion show concluded with a performance by the Denver Radio Band. This was such a fun way to close out the event. The music was great, and the singers were incredible! From cake vendors to a live band, Wine & Nosh showcased every type of outstanding vendor you could have at your wedding.

My experience at Wine & Nosh was quite extraordinary. If you are a bride planning a Colorado wedding, Spruce Mountain Ranch is an incredible location to have your wedding. A huge benefit to hosting your wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch is the access to the unparalleled list of vendors that they offer. Plus, the vendors that attended this event are familiar with the staff at Spruce Mountain and the venue itself. If your wedding is not until 2019 and you have yet to attend Wine & Nosh, mark your calendar for Wine and Nosh 2019 scheduled for January 26th!
