Top Honeymoon Locations

The best night of your life is over, but now it’s time to go on the trip of a lifetime. Your honeymoon is the trip where you get to take time to explore a new place with the love of your life. There’s countless honeymoon worthy locations around the world, so coming up with a concise list to choose from can be a difficult task. We put together some of our favorite locations around the world to make your job a bit easier.

In addition, we also wanted to give you tips on how to choose your honeymoon destination:

1. Decide what you are looking to get out of your trip.

2. Have an open conversation with your soon-to-be spouse about what type of destination you are looking for. Do you want a relaxing beach destination or an exciting countryside to explore?

3. Keep your budget in mind. Before you get your heart set on a specific location make sure that you talk to your spouse about how much you can spend on your honeymoon. If your parents or spouse’s parents will be paying for your honeymoon, make sure you have a conversation with them about the budget.

4. Know how much time you and your spouse can take off work. When you first get engaged, we suggest speaking with your managers about the time you will need before and after your wedding. The more information you give them upfront, the better they can plan for your time off.

5. Now it’s time to plan your honeymoon.
