Spruce Mountain Ranch offers constant natural beauty, during any season. Spruce Mountain Ranch is a stunning 450 acre, working Black Angus cattle ranch in the picturesque foothills of Colorado. Spruce Mountain is sure to offer the most serene, stunning setting for an unforgettable wedding.

We have strategically built our ceremony and reception locations to highlight the stunning characteristics of our area.   Below are a few of the natural features our venue has to offer. Stunning Backdrops

One wedding trend that won’t be going away anytime soon is unique, beautiful backdrops. Thankfully at Spruce Mountain Ranch we have the most beautiful backdrops that Colorado has to offer, and they are completely natural existing. From our gorgeous mountain views, rocky cliffs, rolling-meadows and pristine bodies of water, these landscapes are sure to make the perfect home to say “I do”.

Indoor/Outdoor Rooms

Since our venue offers so much natural beauty, our couples love to get outside during their wedding. For this reason, we made our venue locations with the ability to offer indoor/outdoor space. Our massive stoned outdoor fireplaces will give your guests the opportunity to be warm and still enjoy an outdoor setting. We also have glass overhead doors on our Albert’s Lodge and Spruce Room, that completely open up onto courtyards draped with bistro lighting.  Your guests will easily have the option to go back and forth in comfort, from the indoors to the outdoors.

Winter Beauty

If you are looking to get married in a stunning winter wonderland, then Spruce Mountain is the place for you. Spruce Mountain Ranch is located in Larkspur, Colorado, which has an average of 247 days of sunshine per year. This means that if you have been dreaming of an outdoor winter wedding, statistically it can happen!  We just suggest that you notify your guests prior to the wedding, so they can prepare appropriately. If the weather suddenly changes before your wedding, no need to worry. At Spruce Mountain Ranch we only have 1 wedding a day on our Upper Ranch, and one wedding a day on our lower ranch.  This allows us flexibility and the option to move your wedding indoors.  A decision that doesn’t need to be made until you arrive onto the property.  Having an outdoor wedding in the winter is a unique experience that will show off the beauty of our snow covered grounds, and create the most incredible pictures for years to come. Fall Beauty

If you want jaw dropping fall colors, our Mountainside and Trey’s Vista ceremony location are beyond idealistic.  These locations have the most beautiful panoramic views of our ranch.  During this time of year, you will see gradient shades of yellows, reds, and oranges cascading down the mountainsides.  To add to the experience of this season, we recommend offering your guests a seasonal menu of food and drinks customized by our creative list of caterers.  What better ways to have your guests take in the peaceful setting of the moment?

Dancing Under the Stars

What could possibly be better than dancing under the stars with your new spouse? Our Courtyard locations are the perfect places to host your cocktail hour or dance the night away at your reception.  Being miles from any cities, the stars are so bright; you will feel as if you can reach out and touch them.  It is just another natural element that only a venue such as Spruce Mountain can achieve.
